At Green Pond Methodist Church, we believe that faith isn't just something we talk about
-it's something we live out. Through EQUIPPING, we help followers of Jesus grow stronger
in their faith, deepen their understanding of God's Word, and discover their unique gifts for ministry.
Whether through Bible Study, Discipleship groups, our goal is to EQUIP God's people to serve with
confidence, compassion and purpose.
Preschool Ministry
Tadpoles Preschool Ministry serves children birth to
4K, providing a nurturing and fun space where they
are cared for, prayed for and begin learning about
God's love in engaging, age-appropriate ways! Sunday Mornings @ 10:30 AM
Children's Ministry
At PondPals, kids in 5K-5th grade are challenged to
grow in their faith and take their next steps with
Jesus. Through engaging lessons, worship and small
group connections, we help kids build a strong biblical
foundation that last!

Student Ministry
At Switch, we help students in 6th -12th grade
discover who they are in Christ and what they're
called to do. Through engaging messages, small
groups and meaningful community, students are
equipped to stand strong in their faith and make an

Green Pond Choir
The choir is more than a group of singers- it is a ministry that leads the congregation into the presence of God and encourages ALL to lift up their voices in praise and thanksgiving.

Core Groups
Sunday School is where we dive into making connections and friendships that make a lasting impact. Each week we gather to explore, ask questions and discover how the Bible connects to our everyday live. Core Groups meet on Sunday Morning at 9:30 AM
Men's Ministry
Strong faith. Strong men. Strong families. The Men's Ministry is where meet for real connection,
encouragement and accountability. It's a place where men can grow stronger in their faith. Join the men of Green Pond on Thursday Evenings @ 6:30 PM as we build authentic
friendships, dive into God's Word and challenge one another to live out the calling as men of God.
Frankie Balcombe Circle
The Women's Ministry of Green Pond is actively involved in missions outreach and church life. They gather in the Frankie Balcombe Circle monthly to grow in their faith, serve with purpose and build lasting friendships. Together, women's ministry shares life, study God's Word and support one another as sisters in Christ. Missions and Outreach projects include: Operation Christmas Child, Generations Home, Laurens Memorial Home, Fish Fry and blanket ministry.
Family Fun Group Ministry
The Family Fun Group is all about fellowship, fun and faith-filled activities for the whole family! They plan, organize and lead family friendly events and outings. It organizes games, activities and season celebrations. Activities include 5th Sunday Celebrations, Bazaar/Holiday Fair, Trunk or Treat, Movie Nights, Fish Fry, Valentine's Banquet and social events.
Senior JOY
Senior JOY, celebrates the blessings of faith, friendship, and fun in every season of life. This group consists of active, joyful senior adults who love the Lord, love one another and love spending time together. From fellowship luncheons and day trips to devotionals and ministry projects, Senior JOY provides opportunities to connect, grow and serve in a welcoming, Christ-centered community. Because growing older doesn't mean slowing down-it means growing stronger in faith and richer in joy.
